Shower & Accessibility Renovations
Accessibility renovations or conversions of tubs to showers is become very popular. More homeowners opt to stay in their own home rather than downsize after the kids leave. However mobility can sometimes become an issue. We remove tubs and install floor level showers with grab handles, benches and more.
Some of the shower renovations we complete are not accessibility updates. Often we install a new shower or update an old shower only bathroom.
Bathtub Refinishing
Do you have and old steel bathtub that's colour is stuck in the past? Often times you don't want or need a deeper tub, but the green, beige or blue colour just doesn't fit your style any longer.
We provide complete bathtub refinishing in your home. Change that old colour to a neutral white or repair old chips or water stains.

We could not be happier with the outcome of our bathroom remodel, or the process. Beautiful Baths renovated our main bathroom a few years ago so, when it was time to look at modernizing our ensuite, they were a logical choice to bid on the project.Leigha, our sales rep for both projects, took the time to visit, then meet with us for a few hours one evening so we could zero in on our selections. She is helpful, energetic, and kept in touch with us throughout the process. Leigha was in touch with us before the scheduled date (to confirm their committed date was still good), she popped in to check on the work, and we heard from her multiple times since its completion. So much more than just a salesperson.Then, we move on to Jacobus, Nazaar and Mitchell; what a team. On day 1, we discussed the job with Jacobus, and gave some rather specific measurements for part of the remodel (keep reading). The team worked efficiently, kept the workplace clean, and did an amazing job. The attention to detail and precision is impeccable. Jacobus kept us informed of the expected progress, involved us in all the appropriate decisions, and we were happy he shared his skill with us. Nazaar did a pristine job on the drywalling and the whole team seems genuinely happy.Our remodel was much more complex than our previous one. It involved removing a jacuzzi,; re-routing all the applicable 2nd floor plumbing; moving an HVAC outlet; protecting the flooring footprint in our bedroom; leaving exactly enough space to install a storage cabinet. Of course, on top of this, the entire bathroom was replaced. A new shower was constructed (new walls) and installed, a new vanity was placed, new cabinets, mirrors and flooring.The end result was a complete transformation and we are so very pleased with the quality and workmanship of each person involved in the process.read more

Sarah met with us and was always welcoming in showroom. She also responded to all questions in a timely manner. There were no glitches in a two week Reno. Rare indeed. Every afternoon and every morning we had an update for what the plan was. They were willing and accommodating with any of our own trades people, seamlessly coordinating with them. The team was respectful of our house and completely cleaned up every afternoon before leaving. They maintained a tidy and safe workspace. We really could not have had a better experience. I absolutely love my new bathroom! From start (with Leigha) to finish with Terry and his crew of helpers, the process was easy. Leigha helped with design and colours. Terry was amazing with the tear down and rebuild, finishing ahead of schedule. He works to a very high standard and kept me informed throughout the whole journey. Our ensuite bathroom was in desperate need of a makeover. We received several quotes to do the work and once we met with Leigha, we were sold on Beautiful Baths. Darcy, Roger and Zane took out our old and dated small bathtub/shower and updated it to a beautiful, clean, bright and spacious new shower that is so comfortable, easy to clean, and just really pretty. After the flood on July 21st, we became so discouraged with our ruined basement. The staff at Beautiful Baths have been so accommodating and encouraging, offering us a great selection of bathroom products which met our needs, both financially and esthetically. Leigha guided us through the initial contract process with so much encouragement. Chris Bezanson and the other installers fit us into their busy schedule, were prompt, friendly and informative, involving us in the decision-making every step of the way (ie. placement of the grab bar, shelving and hand-held shower head). Terry and his team from Beautiful Baths just finished renovating one of my bathrooms. New everything! I had the tub surround replaced with a shower stall. I’m happy with the product. I chose smooth acrylic that looks like concrete walls. I worried from the time I made the decision to the install that I may have chosen wrong. I did not! It’s beautiful! The new vanity, new toilet, pot lights, lighted mirror, towel warmer, and heated tile floors have made my bathroom feel like a spa.Terry was fantastic. He’s professional, pleasant, and it seems like he can do any job to perfection. He is also innovative and communicates well to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. He recognizes where plans can be improved and brings it to your attention. During the work all my floors were well protected by rubber mats.Terry is currently renovating my downstairs bath to include a curb-less “roll in” shower and all the amenities that are in the upper bath.Andrew did my estimate. He was easy to reach, made good suggestions , was responsive to my questions and patient with my changes. Patti was helpful every time I went into the showroom.I haven’t received the final bill yet but I don’t expect any big surprises - even though I’ve added several items since the project started.I can totally recommend this company for large and small bathroom renovations. .read more

Beautiful bath serviced our tub which was installed less than 4 years ago by the other big bath fitting company. We noticed that the seal between our tub and the insert had let go all along the bottom of the tub which was caused by water leaking in between the two. The other company wanted to charge us quite a bit to have someone come in to vacuum out the tub and reseal it and but they had no idea when they would have someone available to do so (we are still waiting for a call back from them). Beautiful bath was able to send someone out within days and fix the issue quickly and didn't charge us an arm and a leg to do so. I highly recommend this company and will be calling them in the future for any other bath fitting services and products!read more

I'm late with this review but if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They called us with an open timeslot before our expected install date. It was a monday. Our first child was due on the following wednesday so it was perfecting timing...or so we thought. He decided to come early on the sunday. Our first day home with him was when our reno started. We told the install guys to just do their thing and if it was too loud we would go downstairs or go for a walk.They walked us through every step of the project though and even tip toed around the house trying to make as little noise as possible for our new baby boy.The install did take a few extra hours the next day but not at the fault of the company at all. They showed me the previous install as they were tearing the shower out and you could easily tell the previous company did a shotty job of mcgyvering it to make it work.100% we will we call them first for any future reno's we may need done. Pricing was on point with what other companies quoted us but their time frame was leaps and bounds ahead of any of the other guys.read more

After over a decade of different house projects, Beautiful Baths is the very first company that we have ever dealt with that was on-time for the start of our master bathroom re-model, that finished the project EARLY (all previous contractors we have had to chase after them to finish the last 10%, not so with BB), and did a gorgeous job on our bathroom. First of all, they were able to schedule us almost 3 weeks earlier than our initial appointment. The installer Jamie, showed up at 7:30am and began right away and was very knowledgeable and kept us informed on what he was doing. He had finished the majority of work on day 1 and only had to come back the following day for about 2 hours and was done and everything looked well. He had two helpers one the first day and a different one the second day and both were very helpful and considerate as well, and cleaned up all their mess when they were done.Would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking for knowledgeable workers to be able to make their bathroom look better!read more

A week ago I had only good things to say about this company. 2 weeks after the work was done , the tub stopper seemed to have broken. A call to report this , I was told someone would call and tell me how to use it. The next day , I called back and was told it was on the calendar and someone would stop by when they had time. It is now a week, no call or visit. We bought an old fashioned plug.Update!!Thank you Andrew!!A quick visit and a new plug for the tub. We love our new bathtub! We had Beautiful Baths come in for a free estimate, they measured the space and went through all of our options with us. They had great payment options and our installer was professional and friendly. There were two installers the first day and one for the second to just complete the finishing touches. They had someone from the company come for an inspection before completing another inspection with us before signing off on the completed job. We would absolutely recommend beautiful baths!read more

Chris the owner carefully explained the process to me in an open and honest manner that I really appreciated. The installation itself was fully completed in 1 day - the 2 workers arrived at 7.45am and were complete by 3.30pm. Having any re-modeling done to my bathroom very shortly after moving into my new living situation was certainly NOT an expense I wanted to incur nor a nuisance I wished to endure - but it became necessary - Leigha , sales representative , came within a day or two of my call and made the experience so very easy for me - she made recommendations that made sense to me and I was able to shop from home - I loved that ! Great Job! Leigha came in and addressed all of our concerns and did a quote for us right on the spot. Then the team that came a couple of weeks later to complete the project did a great job. In and out in one day and cleaned up after themselves (vacuuming included). We had one concern after the job was complete, but one of the installers came out and addressed it right away.
